Vincent Delaporte Sancerre Cul de Beaujeu 2013
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
Dark red with purple lights. It expresses nice empyreumatic scents (toasted bread, cocoa, coffee) and delicate aromas of tapenade, blueberries, black cherries and pastry. A pleasant animal note also delights the nose. The texture is ample with silky tanins giving a velvety feeling in the mouth. The palate offers aromas and texture of the blueberry tart but also crème brulée and whisky notes. Long retro-olfaction with crunchy red fruit overtones.
Located in the heart of the Sancerre appellation in the village of Chavignol, Domaine Vincent Delaporte has been passed from father to son since the 17th century. It is now in the hands of 30-year-old rising star Mathieu Delaporte, who has introduced more organic farming practices and constantly improves the quality of the wines. He is now recognised as one of the finest red winemakers in Sancerre.
