Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
A pale golden colour with golden highlights and remarkable yellow gold tints. The mousse is fine and abundant, forming a delicate stream of bubbles.
A very welcoming and enticing nose. The complex and opulent aromas have now reached maturity. The character of the Pinot Noir grapes delivers a range of very juicy, fruity aromas. Initial notes of brioche and honey appear, and floral bouquet adds refinement to this divine nose.
A distinct, fresh immediate mouthfeel. The acidity is balanced by the full-bodied taste of the wine. The mouth is composed of fleshy fruit - peach, apricot and nectarine. The finish is very long and finely balanced, with scents of citrus fruits and flowers echoing its bouquet. A real seducer, this Blanc de Noirs can be drunk at any time of the day, and will surprise when served with exotic fruit desserts.
The Janisson & Fils style is a perpetual quest for finesse and elegance. With a unique structure, seven hectares of vines classified Grand Cru and a team invested in the search for perfection, champagne Janisson & Fils is at a turning point. Firstly, the champagne house sets out a policy to master and improve each step of the champagne making process. As a young champagne house it naturally turns to both visual and technical modernity.
Verzenay has 1090 inhabitants and 440 hectares of vineyards and it is in this popular Champagne village that Manuel Janisson’s family has been based for four generations. In 1923 Robert Arnould, Manuel’s grandfather, launched his first cuvée and faithful to local heritage it contained only Pinot Noir grapes. Several decades later Manuel Janisson assured the continuity of this tradition and his attachment to the village by establishing his cellars in the very heart of the Verzenay vines. Although always forward looking he has nevertheless respected the tradition of champagne whilst introducing his own notes of modernity. Like his grandfather before him the Pinot Noir remains the dominant grape in his production and perpetuates the family tradition by making a Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru that is so typical of Verzenay.
