Château Roylland Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2011
The wine has a very beautiful dark color and on the nose, it reveals a very open bouquet of liquorice and red fruits. It is a very supple, full-bodied wine with velvety tannins and very well-balanced structure .
The Château Roylland dates back to the times of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Its name means « The King's Land ». It is located right next to some of the most prestigious estates of the Saint-Emilion region. In July 2010, Martine and Jean-Bernard Chambard became the new owners of the estate. They built new cellars, new facilities and a brand new tasting room.
