Larry Cherubino Cherubino Cowaramup Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
Typical Margaret River fragrance of red dusty earth with dried bay leaf and fennel seed with black fruit characters of mulberry and black currant. The oak influence is very subtle with clove spice. The texture of this wine is round and plush, with fine, dusty and complex tannins.
Cherubino wines started in 2005 by Larry and Edwina Cherubino with the release of a single vineyard Shiraz from Frankland River situated in The Great Southern wine region of Western Australia. The Cherubinos have a vineyard in Frankland River, which is the focus for their premium wines. In addition to this, fruit is also sourced from Margaret River, Pemberton and the Porongurups. There is a penchant for making traditional varieties best suited to these regions, as well as experimenting with new varietals - the latter being recent and exciting additions to their vineyard. Larry’s winemaking philosophy is very simple. He spends most of the year focusing on vineyards and grapes ensuring that only the best fruit ends up in the winery. This enables him to showcase regional and varietal pairings and highlight single vineyards from around Western Australia.
