Louis Latour Beaujolais Villages 2017
The Beaujolais Villages presents itself in a profoundly superb garnet color. The nose is powerful with aromas of strawberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by notes of hummus. In the mouth it is an ample and round wine with aromas of huckleberry. Beautiful acidity in the finish which gives a lovely persistence.
The Louis Latour family first bought vines in the Cote de Beaune in 1731, with land in some of the top Burgundy vineyards. Cooperage was already at that period a family occupation.
