Mt. Difficulty Long Gully Pinot Noir 2013
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
The wine displays classic red to black forest berry characters. The blackcurrent and boysenberry really shine through. The palate is rich and sensuous finishing strongly with masculine fine grained tannins flowing into red berry fruit.
With their founding vineyards established in 1992, Mt Difficulty owns some of the oldest vineyards and is one of the most respected wineries in the Central Otago region of New Zealand's rugged South Island. Situated in Bannockburn, a unique and rare area of extremes, Mt Difficulty has harnessed the once brutal terrain to produce premium wines at the forefront of Central Otago's wine production.
The Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification was set up by British wine writer Matthew Jukes and Australian Tyson Stelzer they call it "a purposeful contrast to static classifications such as the famous Bordeaux 1855 Classification”. Mt. Difficulty has again received a 5 Star Rating for the 6th Consecutive Year. Mt. Difficulty is one of only 4 New Zealand wineries with 5 stars.
