Paco García Crianza 2015
Aromas of ripe fruit, figs and cherries. Hints of mint and aromas of caramel and coffee. The palate is velvety with very good acidity. Long and persistent.
Paco Garcia owns 40 hectares of vineyards spread over seven estates in the central area of Rioja. The average age of the vines is 30 years old and small parcels of vines are 80 years old. The soil is clayey limestone and some vineyards have a planted vegetation cover. They have goblet-trained vines (the oldest) and espalier-trained vines to maximise light and sun exposure. All the grapes are harvested by hand. They are focused on producing quality wines respecting the most deeply rooted traditions of Rioja, but without forgetting the most modern winemaking techniques.
