Vinification: Destemmed, fermented in open top vessels for 10 days at 22-28°C. Pressed to barrel for malolactic fermentation, fined with egg white prior to blending and bottling

Aromas of graphite, blackcurrants and black tea leaves & French oak reflective of the grapes' origin. The palate is dry, well structured with a fruit filled fleshy mid palate. Great with a plate of stir fried Beef Ho Fun noodles.

You don't get given free passes in this town, you have to step up and claim yours. Why should we rely on others to bring the best to the table? Sourced abroad and teaches a lesson as to what this town is all about.
Established in 2011 as a winemaking project by Eddie McDougall and his team at The Flying Winemaker, this proudly Hong Kong endeavour pushes all the boundaries of traditional winemaking. With the ability to call the world his vineyard, Eddie and The Flying Winemaker flew to multiple regions across the globe to source quality grapes for the production of wine in the very heart of the fragrant harbour. The wines of this series are named after some of Hong Kong’s most iconic locations and modes of transport as a tribute to the old Hong Kong in which Eddie grew up.
