Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Country: New Zealand
Vinification: After being gently destemmed, the Pinot Noir fruit was allowed to cold soak for 48 hours to extract the beautiful colour and the essence of the fruit flavours that are the hallmarks of this wine. Only the free run juice was used and fermentation was carried out at low temperatures with yeast strains selected from the south of France for their ability to enhance rosé flavours and mouthfeel.
Ageing/Maturation: 100% stainless steel fermentation/maturation
Sweetness: 6.1 g/L
Tiki Estate Rosé 2016
NOSE: Intense aromas of strawberries and confectionary.
PALATE: This is a full-bodied wine with luscious palate weight. Made from free run pinot noir, it has a soft texture balanced by moderate acidity and a small amount of residual sugar. The intensity of flavours provides a lingering finish.
